Recreation and Social Services

The Recreation and Social Services program offers persons with developmental disabilities the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of year round specialized activities aimed at providing full community participation and safe physical fitness opportunities based on the individual’s health goals and abilities. Participants develop friendships, increase community involvement and most importantly a have fun!

Programs Include:

Recreation Package Activities

Once registered, you will receive calendars on a quarterly basis which are filled with hundreds of community and in-house activities, i.e. Dave & Busters, Providence Bruins, Therapeutic Drumming, dances, bowling and movies.

Trudeau Tiger Sports

Our qualified coaches support teams in Special Olympic Unified and Traditional soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming, softball, power lifting, bowling, golfing, track and field and cycling.

Saturday Recreation

Saturdays are one of our most popular programs. Participants have a variety of activity options throughout the day. Saturday Recreation runs September through May 9am-3:00pm
