We are committed to preserving the human rights, benefits and privileges that all citizens are guaranteed by the Constitution and the laws of the United States. But beyond the human rights that we should all come to expect, and which we endeavor to protect to the utmost, we believe it our duty to empower individuals to promote their well-being and enhance their quality of life.

Through the mandated Human Rights Committee and Quality Assurance Teams, the center investigates and acts upon all reported incidents of human rights violations of individuals receiving its services. Through its independent Board of Directors and its various advocacy and support groups, the center encourages and advocates for the improvement of the quality of life of its consumers.

It cannot be overemphasized that while the center may endeavor to provide the best services it has to offer, it is with the involvement of the consumer, his/her family and friends, and an informed community that these services can best be known and realized. Consequently, we strongly encourage participation in the various committees, advocacy organizations and support groups that are essential to the realization of offering and advancing the best possible services.
