Community Support Services

Community Support Services (CSS) offers a variety of services and supports for adults of all ages, reflecting the unique needs of each individual and their family. Individuals who live at home with their families or live in apartments on their own may access CSS. Through various assessments and with input from many people, individualized supports are developed. All planning and decision-making is done in a partnership with the individual and their family.

CSS provides services and supports that are goal oriented. Each individual has a support agreement that includes specific goals and expectations. It is the responsibility of assigned staff to address these areas as trained. This may involve teaching programs to assist the individual in learning self-care or other activities of daily living or may be more oriented toward social development. An overriding goal of everything we do is to assist the individual in increasing their independence in all areas of daily living and maximize community participation, socialization and fun.
